Exciting Opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary: £27,014.00
Location: Remote
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Role and Key Responsibilities

The Marketing & Communications Officer will play a key role in delivering marketing and communications activity across The Progress Group and its portfolio of Progress Education brands. This role will work across the full marketing mix with a particular focus on digital marketing, digital content creation and campaign planning.

Day-to-day activities will include managing and growing social media channels with a focus on organic engagement, website updates, email coordination, digital content creation and campaign performance reviews. The successful candidate will also be involved with planning and delivering integrated campaigns and act as the primary point of contact for some brands, meaning excellent communication and the ability to multi-task are ‘must-have’ skills.

  • Marketing support for senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Brand and communications
  • Insight, analytics and optimisation
  • Website, CRM and marketing systems
  • General collaboration, project delivery, flexibility, and travel/occasional out-of-hours support.

Personal Specification - Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' demonstrable experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, content or a closely related role, with emphasis on demonstrated capability over specific qualifications
  • Experience in multi-channel campaign management and execution
  • Digital content creation skills, evidenced via a portfolio of work to create video/visual content
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice and style for a range of audiences and platform such as websites/social/email/campaigns
  • Social channel management with strong LinkedIn understanding
  • CMS publishing
  • Email marketing activity
  • Analytical performance data use
  • Managing multiple deadlines/stakeholders
  • Experience in education/schools/professional services
  • B2B or multi-stakeholder settings, preferably agency based
