About Been There

Been There is a UK charity providing one-to-one peer support for adults experiencing eating disorders and body image challenges.

Been There is entering an exciting period of growth. We want to reach more people who need support, recruit and engage more volunteer Peer Mentors, build an active community around our mission and generate the income needed to grow our impact.

Role purpose

The Marketing & Community Engagement Lead will develop and deliver Been There’s marketing and community engagement activity, helping us grow our reach, recruit more volunteer Peer Mentors and build a strong community of supporters, ambassadors and partners.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can combine creative thinking with delivery. You’ll work closely with the CEO and wider team to create campaigns, content and partnerships that help more people discover and engage with Been There.

  • Develop and deliver Been There’s marketing and communications plan
  • Create and manage engaging content across social media, email and the website

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
