WHO WE ARE
Renée Materials is a circular marketplace for creative materials.
On our marketplace, businesses sell their offcuts, surplus stock, and leftover materials to the makers and creatives that need them, turning ‘waste’ into revenue.
Our creative customers find paper, leather, fabric, yarn, wood and more – high-quality materials which our vendors would have paid to dispose of without us.
Everyone involved wins, including our communities and our environment, because keeping materials in the loop avoids the impact of waste disposal and the social and environmental impact of new material production.
We're building the alternative to linear consumption in the creative industries: a treasure trove for creatives, and a growing network of businesses, makers and Renée ambassadors working to cut waste and emissions at scale.
We're a small team building something we believe in. Working with us means real ownership over your work, and the chance to see direct impact from the work you do. We've spent the last few years building our community, refining our service, and have seen strong and consistent growth since launching our online marketplace. Our community is a core part of everything we do as a business, and it plays a fundamental part of our strategy for the next chapter. This is why we're looking for a Marketing and Community Lead to work with us for the next stage of our growth plan and beyond!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
