Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented Marketing and Database Coordinator to join our Group Sales and Marketing team.
This is a varied role, supporting marketing activity across the Positive Change Group and working closely with colleagues across different businesses and teams. The role will have a particular focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our CRM and supporting a wide range of marketing activity, from social media and website updates to events, campaigns and market research.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across different projects and with colleagues at all levels, and be willing to get involved wherever marketing support is needed.
Responsibilities
Database Management
- Maintain the accuracy, consistency and integrity of our Salesforce database.
- Add new contacts and update existing records, ensuring information is complete, accurate and up to date.
- Regularly review and cleanse data, identifying and resolving gaps, duplicates and inaccuracies.
- Support the team with database segmentation and list management for campaigns and events.
- Generate reports and provide accurate data to support marketing activity and sales pipeline management.
Marketing and Campaign Support
- Provide day-to-day coordination and administrative support across marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Help maintain the marketing calendar and ensure activity is planned and delivered on time.
- Coordinate campaign assets, copy, links and other materials, checking that everything is accurate and ready to use.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and wider group teams to support a range of projects and priorities.
Social Media and Content
- Create and schedule social media content in line with the marketing calendar.
- Support the development of content for LinkedIn and other relevant channels.
- Work with internal LinkedIn Ambassadors to coordinate and share engaging content.
- Monitor social media activity and help compile regular performance reporting.
- Ensure we have the appropriate assets for social and web content, creating simple graphics and visual assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express.
- Undertake very simple video editing where required, for example creating short clips or making basic edits to existing webinar or interview content.

Website Management
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring information is accurate, current and presented consistently.
- Upload and manage simple content updates, images and other digital assets.
- Check web content and links for accuracy and flag any issues or improvements.
Event Support
- Support the planning and coordination of events, including attendee lists, invitations, communications and collateral.
- Help ensure event materials and assets are accurate, complete and ready on time.
- Provide on-site support at events where required.
Market Research and Intelligence
- Conduct research into target markets, companies, sectors and prospects to support marketing and business development activity.
- Identify potential speakers, events and opportunities that could support our thought leadership and profile.
- Monitor industry awards, conferences and other relevant opportunities.
- Help maintain accurate records of market and prospect intelligence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in a marketing, database, coordination or administrative role, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a highly accurate approach to work.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively across different teams and businesses.
- Confident using digital tools and willing to learn new systems and software.
- Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to get involved in a broad range of marketing activities.
Desired Skills (Optional)
- Experience with Salesforce reporting, segmentation or data cleansing.
- Experience with a website content management system.
- Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools for creating simple marketing assets.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.
- Experience using market research or data enrichment tools.
