Marketing & E-commerce Manager
Hayley Menzies | London
Hayley Menzies is an independent British fashion brand creating beautifully crafted clothing, rooted in creativity, craftsmanship and considered design.
We’re looking for an energetic, commercially minded and highly proactive Marketing & E-commerce Manager to join our small London team.
This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who combines strong creative instincts with commercial thinking and excellent execution. We’re a small independent business, so we need someone who is as comfortable having the idea as they are making it happen.
Working closely with the Founder & Creative Director, you’ll help shape our marketing strategy and calendar while owning its day-to-day execution across e-commerce, CRM, digital, social and retail.
You’ll manage a small internal team alongside freelance and agency partners across copywriting, graphic design and digital performance.
We love AI and having good experience using ChatGPT or Claude is essential.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and manage the marketing calendar and critical path, coordinating campaigns, product launches and key trading moments.
- Bring strong, relevant creative ideas for launches, content, customer engagement and brand-building, and turn those ideas into action.
- Own the day-to-day trading and merchandising of our Shopify store.
- Manage product launches and uploads, ensuring imagery, copy, pricing and product information are accurate and live on time.
- Monitor and report on sales, sell-through and line-level performance, using this data to help inform reorder decisions, stock strategy and merchandising priorities.
- Own our Klaviyo email marketing, building and executing newsletters and customer communications.
- Develop and optimise automated and triggered CRM flows, segmentation and lifecycle messaging.
- Work with external digital specialists across Meta and Google, ensuring creative, performance and brand presentation are aligned.
- Create and adapt digital assets using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop.
- Oversee social activity at a high level, ensuring it aligns with launches, campaigns and the wider marketing calendar.
- Brief and manage freelance copywriters, graphic designers and agency partners.
- Liaise closely with our retail team, supporting in-store activations and ensuring consistency between the online and in-store customer experience.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and improve the customer journey across the business.
- Manage and/or co-manage a small internal team and work collaboratively across product, retail and operations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
- Visually strong, with excellent taste and a genuine instinct for brand.
