Salary: Up to £35,496 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent (37.5 hours/week, including some weekends)
Location: On-site at One Garden Brighton & Plumpton College

Do you have a passion for marketing, events, and making things happen? Join us at One Garden Brighton, a dynamic destination within the Plumpton College Group. We’re a horticultural centre of excellence and vibrant visitor attraction with a thriving calendar of events and experiences.

We’re on the lookout for an ambitious and proactive Marketing & Events Coordinator to lead the charge in planning, promoting, and delivering campaigns and events that attract thousands of visitors each year.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, plan and deliver compelling marketing campaigns in print and digital
  • Coordinate and manage on-site events from concept to execution with our hospitality team
  • Bring a creative flair – understand the community and One Garden Brighton brand, owning social media and website content – keeping our online presence fresh, relevant, and engaging
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, networks, and media contacts
  • Track performance, evaluate ROI, and constantly seek new opportunities for growth
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to promote educational programmes and courses

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven marketing skills, creativity, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience with social media platforms, CMS, and design tools (Adobe Suite knowledge a plus).
  • An understanding digital tools, social media algorithms and trends. Ability to use social media tools to create video and static content relevant to our audiences to keep our look and feel fresh.
  • Strong communication and organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Experience in events planning or a background in hospitality/tourism is desirable
  • A hands-on, resilient mindset – ready to roll up your sleeves and make things happen
