Role purpose
Are you a marketing professional who thrives on creating impactful campaigns, delivering high impact sector events and building strong stakeholder relationships?
At IDP, we're looking for a Marketing and Events Manager (B2B) to deliver B2B marketing activity across our UK Domestic and UK International portfolios, including Whatuni, Complete University Guide, Student Placement and IELTS.
This is an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity where you'll lead integrated marketing campaigns, manage high-profile events and webinars, and help strengthen IDP's position as a trusted partner to the Higher Education sector.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver integrated B2B marketing campaigns aligned to commercial objectives and sector priorities.
- Manage marketing activity across email, CRM, social media, webinars, and digital channels.
- Translate IDP research, student data and market insight into relevant B2B campaigns and content for university audiences.
- Deliver engaging sector-facing events, webinars, and partner engagement activities.
- Play a leading role in delivering flagship events including the Whatuni Student Choice Awards and IDP Insights Forum.
- Collaborate with product, client, and global marketing teams to ensure campaigns are audience-focused and commercially relevant.
- Manage event logistics including supplier coordination, speaker management, content scheduling, and attendee communications.
- Track campaign and event performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Support management of LinkedIn content planning, scheduling, and performance reporting.
- Maintain CRM data quality and campaign setup through HubSpot.

What We're Looking For
- Experience delivering successful B2B marketing campaigns.
- Proven event management experience, including webinars, conferences, and stakeholder events.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign execution.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot for campaign and event delivery, including audience segmentation, invitations, registrations and attendee communications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of how marketing contributes to engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment and confidently take ownership from planning through to delivery.
Desired (Not Essential)
- Experience within Higher Education, education services, or a related sector.
- Knowledge of UK Higher Education trends, policy developments, and market dynamics.
- Experience working with external agencies, suppliers, and event partners.
- Familiarity with data-driven marketing and campaign performance reporting.
