Role Description
The Marketing and Events Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kent, WA. This role is responsible for driving event bookings through proactive sales outreach, relationship building with clients and partners, and timely follow-up on inquiries and leads. The Manager develops and executes marketing campaigns, oversees digital and print promotion, and maintains a strong brand presence across online platforms and local networks.

Day-to-day activities include:

- Preparing proposals and contracts
- Conducting venue tours
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Tracking performance metrics and sales pipelines
The role also involves:
- Attending networking events
- Identifying new market opportunities
- Providing regular reports and insights to leadership
Qualifications
- Experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or venue management, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Skills in marketing planning and execution, including digital marketing, social media management, and campaign coordination.
- Strong client relationship management skills, including prospecting, lead nurturing, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients and stakeholders.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with CRM tools, basic data analysis, and reporting on sales and marketing performance.
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or related industries preferred; knowledge of the Kent, WA market is an advantage.
- Relevant education in marketing, business, hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
