About the Role

Plannex Scale is a specialist marketing agency dedicated to helping financial planners grow their businesses. We work closely with ambitious financial planning firms, providing expertise in content, video, and organic marketing to help them build their brands and generate measurable growth.

As a Marketing and Growth Assistant, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day marketing delivery for a portfolio of financial planning clients.

This is a hands-on role for an organised, proactive marketer who is comfortable juggling multiple clients and keeping recurring marketing activity moving. You’ll work across social media, monthly newsletters, webinars, blogs, and marketing automations, while making sure content is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time.

You’ll also manage marketing compliance approvals for relevant clients, including St. James’s Place (SJP) approvals where applicable. You’ll ensure materials are submitted, tracked, and amended as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns for financial planning clients, with a focus on video, content, and organic channels.
  • Assist in the creative ideation, creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across digital platforms (social media, blogs, email newsletters, webinars, etc.).
  • Create on-brand supporting graphics and assets using Canva.
  • Manage client relationships and participate in client meetings.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and new opportunities for client growth.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance, preparing regular reports and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Maintain and update CRM system, marketing databases, client records, and project management tools.
  • Manage marketing compliance approval processes across relevant clients.
  • Build and maintain marketing automations to support lead nurturing.
  • Own project timelines and keep work moving without needing to be chased.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues about progress, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, tracking project timelines, and managing communications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
