Marketing Director

With an annual audience of hundreds of millions worldwide, the IAI is redefining how ideas are initiated and shared. Alongside its digital platform, the IAI is also responsible for the HowTheLightGetsIn festivals, the world's largest festivals of philosophy and music.

About the Role

In this role you will lead a core team of six, ensuring the quality and vision of our marketing output, and driving the continued remarkable growth that we have had every year for the last decade.

  • Lead a core team of six
  • Ensure the quality and vision of our marketing output
  • Drive the continued remarkable growth

Requirements

  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to drive digital growth
  • Ability to retain and build subscriber loyalty
  • Maximise revenue with appropriate pricing
  • Expertise in social media, website content and design
  • Detailed understanding of web analytics
  • Use data to sharpen campaigns, refine messaging, improve performance and spot new opportunities for growth

Preferred Skills

  • Outstanding communicator
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Knowledge of traditional forms of marketing including press and hard copy promotional material
  • Experience in developing and launching a website
  • Experience in improving and updating an existing site alongside digital marketing and social media campaigns

Evidence of Success

  • Hard, demonstrable evidence of driving growth in a previous role (revenue, traffic, conversions, subscribers, following or engagement)

Qualifications

  • Strong academic background
  • Minimum 2:1 degree from a top university
