Please Note Location: Office based, 5 days a week, in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.

Dark Matter is a hybrid consultancy operating at the intersection of technology, business, and society. We translate first-hand intelligence into creative impact, ranging from strategic foresight for tech brands and governments to broadcast-quality documentary and drama series.
We are seeking a proactive Marketing and Production Executive that is eager, with a positive can-do attitude, ready to support our production team. This dual role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to our marketing initiatives while providing essential pre-production and boots-on-the-ground support for Dark Matter’s documentary and film productions. You will support the campaign team, working with the Production Manager, handling everything from digital marketing development to on-set logistics.
Please note this role requires 5 days in the office, there may also be travel during shoots so it is preferable the candidate can drive and has access to a car. It is also preferable the candidate is local to Hartley Wintney.

Responsibilities:
Marketing & Project Support
- Develop and build HTML emails
- Assist in the execution of Dark Matter’s social media activity
- Account based marketing support: Research target stakeholders
- Support with ordering of client merchandise and marketing materials, booking lunches/dinners
- Support the Production Manager with studio planning – timeline and budget updates
- Develop project reports on key metrics.
- Support the campaign team in maintaining and updating Hubspot and our project management platform.
Production & Logistics
- On-Set Support: Act as a runner on set during film shoots and documentaries.
- Pre-Production: Handle location scouting, source props and coordinate catering for production teams.
- Documentation: Prepare call sheets and manage the printing and scanning of release forms and legal paperwork.
- Event Coordination: Help coordinate events, interviews and shoots, including all logistics and travel arrangements.
- Contributor Vetting: Identify, vet and compile background profiles on potential interviewees for productions.

Administrative Assistance
- Support with admin around the office: replenishing supplies, setting up for in-house meetings
- Sourcing contractors for office maintenance
Skills and Experience:
- Organisation: Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communication: The ability to communicate with the team, suppliers, interviewees and clients in a professional and efficient manner.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite. Experience with HTML is highly desirable.
- Adaptability: Being able to adapt to new tools, production environments and evolving client needs.
- Attention to Detail: Paramount for copywriting, data entry and production paperwork.
- Attitude: A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a "can-do" approach to supporting the team.
