Marketing and Social Media Executive

Location: Chislehurst, Kent (with occasional travel to other Ancaster locations)
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full Time | Permanent | Hybrid Working available upon successful completion of probation

Are you a creative marketer who loves social media, content creation and getting out from behind a desk?
We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Executive to help bring Ancaster and our automotive brands to life across social media, events, dealerships and digital content.

You’ll create and manage organic social content across brands including Nissan, Hyundai, MG, Renault, Dacia, OMODA, JAECOO and Changan, while also playing a hands-on role in the planning and delivery of vehicle launches, dealership events, community activity and sponsorships.

This is a varied, practical role, so you’ll need to be confident creating content on location, comfortable appearing on camera when required, and happy to support occasional weekend events with advance notice.

About Ancaster

Ancaster Group is one of the UK’s leading automotive retailers, representing a diverse portfolio of brands across South London, Surrey and Kent.
You’ll work closely with our Marketing Managers and Digital Marketing & Campaign Executive, as well as dealership teams, suppliers and manufacturer partners across the Group.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take a leading role in managing Ancaster’s organic social media presence, creating engaging content and supporting the delivery of events and activations across our brands.

Your responsibilities will include:

Social Media & Content

  • Plan, create and schedule engaging content across Ancaster’s social media channels.
  • Produce photography, video and written content across dealerships, launches and events.
  • Identify social trends and opportunities to grow engagement, reach and brand awareness.
  • Monitor social channels and respond to comments and messages in a professional and timely way.
  • Write social copy, news stories and other marketing content.
  • Support wider marketing campaigns with creative content.
  • Build relationships with relevant accounts, influencers and manufacturer channels to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Ensure content reflects manufacturer guidelines and Ancaster brand standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
