One Sky Marketing and Social Media Executive
One Sky, a free and impact-led sustainability app turning daily actions and attention into verified environmental impact, is looking for an experienced Marketing and Social Media Executive to help grow our online presence and work with our Marketing Manager to onboard users and businesses.

Grow our community from the ground up.
You’ll help build a passionate user base through organic content, partnerships, and storytelling—showing the world why One Sky matters. -
Drive user sign-ups that unlock revenue.
Our ability to attract brand sponsorships relies on demonstrating strong user growth and engagement. Your work directly fuels the numbers and narrative that sponsors need to see. -
Amplify our mission.
By turning sustainability and impact data into meaningful content, you’ll help people understand how their everyday actions matter—and why One Sky is the platform that empowers them. -
Build brand credibility.
You will establish our online voice, visual identity, and presence, helping us look, sound, and feel like a trusted leader in the sustainability space. -
Create opportunities for partnerships and sponsorships.
Your campaigns and community engagement will help us open doors to brands, businesses, and organizations who want to support and collaborate with One Sky. -
Support onboarding of users and businesses.
You’ll help guide both individuals and companies into our ecosystem, making it easy for them to join and understand the value of our impact-led and verified-lead marketing funnel. -
Shape the early future of the company.
As one of our first marketing hires, your ideas, experiments, and insights will directly influence our strategy, product, and long-term success.

Able to generate ideas, spot opportunities, and work independently—important in a volunteer, zero-budget environment. -
Strong communicator
Clear writing, confident communication, and the ability to translate impact stories into engaging content. -
Organized and self-motivated
Comfortable managing their own workload, meeting deadlines, and running with ideas without constant supervision. -
Social-first mindset
Understands how content performs on different platforms and how to build an online community authentically. -
Collaborative and team-oriented
Works well with your Marketing Manager, founders, and partners; open to feedback and iteration. -
Mission-aligned and values-driven
Believes in inclusivity, transparency, and building a better future through technology and sustainability.
Experience That Would Be Helpful
You can phrase these as "ideal but not required" to keep the role accessible
- Experience creating content for social media (personal, volunteer, or professional)
- Familiarity with sustainability topics, environmental issues, or purpose-led brands
- Experience managing social media pages or communities
- Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut, or other simple content-creation tools
- Experience running organic growth campaigns or helping launch a product
- Understanding of social media analytics and insights
- Experience working with charities, community groups, or early-stage startups (a bonus)
- Confidence in contacting influencers, partners, and potential collaborators
Someone creative, motivated, and excited about using social media to drive sustainability impact.

Main Duties – Marketing & Social Media Executive (One Sky)

Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all social channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Facebook, etc.)
- Develop a consistent, recognizable brand voice focused on sustainability, impact, and innovation
- Monitor social activity, respond to comments/messages, and help foster community engagement
- Track performance metrics and provide regular insights to optimize content and campaigns
Content Creation
- Work with the Marketing Manager to develop compelling campaigns supporting app launch and growth
- Produce social assets including graphics, short-form video, blog copy, and user-facing updates
- Support production of newsletters, case studies, and onboarding materials for individuals and businesses
Growth & User Acquisition
- Support the rollout of the impact-led and verified-lead marketing funnel
- Assist with onboarding new users, partners, and businesses into the One Sky ecosystem
- Identify and collaborate with influencers, sustainability advocates, and aligned organizations
- Run targeted social promotions and experiments to accelerate user growth
Market & Community Engagement
- Research sustainability trends, competitor activity, and audience insights to inform strategy
- Build relationships with aligned communities, online groups, and grassroots sustainability networks
- Support event participation (virtual or in-person) to promote the One Sky brand and mission
Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs across social, email, and acquisition channels
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports to highlight growth, opportunities, and challenges
- Provide recommendations to improve user engagement and funnel performance
General Marketing Support
- Assist the Marketing Manager with day-to-day tasks and campaign execution
- Coordinate with design, product, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive messaging
- Help maintain One Sky’s brand consistency and alignment with the mission of verified, impact-led sustainability
- Partner logic, user trust loops, and marketing narratives
