We have a unique opening for a Marketing Apprentice to join our growing team, based out of Bury St Edmunds. The career path on offer is, literally, unmatched.
Unmatched is part marketing agency, part business consultancy, with a specific focus on HubSpot and digital transformation. We're a HubSpot Diamond Partner and a team of 9, working with clients across the UK and Europe.
We're at a growth point in our journey, so you'll be in for the ride and learning experience of your life. Up for the challenge?
About the role
This is a content role, and it's entirely about us.
You won't be doing client work. You'll be building Unmatched's own presence on LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, and you'll own it. That's rare for an apprenticeship, and it means the work you make is yours to point at.
Practically, that means filming, editing, posting and reporting. Short-form video, talking-head clips, carousels, graphics, behind-the-scenes office content, event coverage, recruitment content, and helping the team turn what they know into content people actually watch. We work with businesses solving real problems, and there's a lot of good material sat inside this team that nobody has filmed yet. That's the gap you're filling.
You'll have proper kit to do it with. We provide professional grade camera, audio, lighting and editing hardware, plus the software. No shooting on your own phone and hoping for the best.
Reporting into our Marketing Executive, you'll grow your career with the business as we delight our customers and grow our team.
You'll be starting a Content Creator apprenticeship (or similar marketing/digital apprenticeship), alongside your learning with us. We'll fund further training as needed, and you'll get allocated time for HubSpot Academy courses too, because understanding the marketing engine behind the content is what will make you genuinely good at this.
We're a flexible team, however as you establish your career we'll need you in our central Bury St Edmunds office 3 days a week (with free on-street parking). Most of the content you'll make involves being around people, so the office days matter. We love remote working, so we'll make sure you're fully equipped to work effectively from home on the other days.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme
Why you're a good match
StrongYour economics background and your summer at a regional bank line up with what PwC looks for on the consulting scheme. Applications close in four weeks.
See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
No degree required. A showreel, a portfolio, an account you run, or any body of work you're proud of will count for more than qualifications here.
We have a regular office dog who loves a cuddle, so being comfortable around dogs is essential. He is also excellent content.
Responsibilities
- Planning, shooting and editing short-form video for Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
- Running Unmatched's social channels day to day. Scheduling, posting, replying to comments and DMs, and keeping the calendar full.
- Editing longer-form video into clips, including subtitling, captions, thumbnails and simple motion graphics.
- Designing static content and carousels in Canva or similar, on brand and without needing it redone.
- Capturing content around the office and at events, including the occasional bit of travel.
- Getting the team on camera. Interviewing colleagues, prompting them properly, and editing them into something watchable.
- Supporting personal brand content for the Managing Director and wider team.
- Writing captions and short copy that sounds like us rather than like LinkedIn.
- Creating recruitment and employer brand content as we keep growing the team.
- Reporting on what performed and what flopped, and having a view on why.
- Building and maintaining our content library so nothing good gets lost on a memory card.
- Looking after the kit. Charged, backed up, and where it should be.
- Coming up with fresh ideas for our content. No idea is a bad idea.
- General support for the business as required.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Some hands-on experience creating content, whether that's for yourself, a side project, a club, a college course or a previous job. Show us the work.
- Comfortable with video editing software. CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut are all fine, and we'll help you level up.
- A good eye for framing, pacing and what makes someone stop scrolling.
- Keen to learn proper camera, audio and lighting technique. You don't need to know it yet, but you do need to want to.
- Confident being around a camera, and confident asking colleagues to get in front of one.
- Genuinely up to date on what's working on Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok right now.
- High standards of written communication. Captions, copy and comments all count.
- Self-motivated. This role will require you to drive your own agenda and turn up with ideas.
- Organised enough to hit a posting schedule without being reminded.
- Willingness to learn and grow, including the marketing and HubSpot side, not just the creative side.
- Courage and grit. Sometimes you'll need to roll up your sleeves and dig into something you weren't prepared for.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace. We can teach you everything else.
- Canva, Figma or Adobe experience is a bonus. Photography is a bonus. Neither is essential.
