About The Role

You could be part of the Government’s flagship Pride in Place (PiP) Programme for Worksop and make a real difference to our local community. The PiP empowers local people to shape the future of their neighbourhood. This programme represents a long-term strategy to fix the foundations in hundreds of communities across the country.

  • Providing regular updates via different media channels
  • Reporting to all stakeholders on key project delivery
  • Developing Worksop Together’s brand
  • Creating and updating content in line with branding requirements and project progress
  • Developing on the job marketing expertise
  • Enhancing the output of Worksop Together
  • Undertaking all creative design work
  • Campaign planning and delivery
  • Monitoring performance of comms output and engagement
  • Providing regular updates and guidance to Board
  • Work with all Board members and their organisations to develop expert marketing and communications expertise

Applicants will be considered subject to experience, aptitude and academic assessment. They will be considered on a case by case basis.

You will be expected to attend Board meetings, liaise with a variety of key stakeholders, and be prepared to spend the majority of your role engaging with key community stakeholders in Worksop, an awareness of the ongoing project inception and delivery.

About The Training

The trainee / apprentice will enrol and attend NTU’s Digital Marketer (Integrated) Degree Apprenticeship BA (Hons).

Worksop Together are the neighbourhood board delivering the strategic priorities for the 10 year funding for Pride in Place in Worksop.

Though Bassetlaw Community and Voluntary Service (BCVS) will be the host organisation and employer, the candidate will be working for the Worksop Together Board to share the bold vision, events and projects of Worksop Together with all key stakeholders and community. They will work closely with the Pride in Place Programme Officer and Board members.
