Marketing Artist
Hutch is seeking an experienced multidisciplinary Marketing Artist to work within our growing Creative Services Team. We work closely with our Game Dev and Performance Marketing teams to promote and showcase our games. We believe in small autonomous teams that have a lot of responsibility. As such our Marketing Artists are true generalists and this role will give you the opportunity to focus on concepting, designing and creating video and static promotional content across our growing portfolio of games.
We are looking for a self-motivated, pragmatic Marketing Artist who thrives on the ability to be creative. You will have a passion to work in the mobile free to play space and be eager to immerse yourself in the marketable positioning of each game. This role requires collaboration across multiple teams and the ideal candidate will be comfortable facilitating conversations across disciplines as well as sharing new ideas and concepts with the team.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging and impactful marketing creatives (video and static) for social media/UA purposes
- Transfer key marketing initiatives into high quality consumer facing visuals
- Keeping abreast of emerging creative trends across digital platforms
- Work as part of an embedded team of 2-3 to come up with creative marketing ideas
- Iterate on new and previous ads to create eye catching content to optimise performance
- Independently research and innovate on new ideas for creatives
Requirements
- Open and creative
- Able to communicate complex ideas & visual hierarchy in simple, visually appealing ways
- Ability to create visually appealing creatives based on marketing pillars and strategy
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly. After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Experience & passion for creating both motion graphics & video content
- Good communication skills and a teamwork oriented attitude
- Exceptional eye for composition, colour & graphic design skills
- Understanding of social media, marketing and emerging trends, working and designing to platform technical specifications
- Confident and happy to work across multiple projects if & when required
- Able to work autonomously when required
Bonus Points
- Experience capturing gameplay in Unity Engine
- Knowledge of 3D software such as Maya & Blender
- Experience of working with outsourcing teams
- Experience with animation 2D, 3D
- Ability to render high quality static sizzle images
- Prior experience within the game industry or in a video game studio
- An understanding/awareness of user acquisition and app store optimization in the mobile games space
- Knowledge in basic sound design/editing
- A passion for video games
- We make games with cars in. If you love cars that's a bonus (but not a requirement!)
