Marketing Assistant

Law Chambers

The Client:

A leading set of barristers’ chambers is seeking a bright, proactive, and highly organised Legal Administrator to work closely with the Marketing Manager and Chambers Director. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who ideally has demonstrable interest - and experience - in the legal sector who is eager to develop and advance their marketing career.

The Administrator Role:

Working within the Marketing Team, you manage a variety of tasks within a small, collaborative and highly professional environment. Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Updating the website and LinkedIn, and drafting engaging content in the Chambers’ style
  • Coordinating events and webinars, from invites to follow-up
  • Researching and preparing submissions for legal directories
  • Creating marketing materials and liaising with suppliers
  • Managing the CRM system (Lex) for targeted campaigns
  • Providing light admin support (c.15%) to the Chambers Director, such as scheduling meetings and liaising with IT for new starters

Candidate Specification:

  • Administrative experience in professional services, financial services, legal or other corporate field is ideal
  • A keen interest in the legal world
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work well under pressure
  • A motivated self-starter

  • Core hours 9:30-5:30 (with some flex needed)
