Marketing Assistant — Milton Keynes

Full-time · Immediate start · £26,000–£30,000 OTE (uncapped commission)

About the Role

Start a commercial career without needing a commercial background. Relay Direct runs face-to-face marketing campaigns for established brands across B2B, B2C and events. We don't hire for CVs — we hire for attitude and train the rest. Most of our team joined with no marketing experience at all, from hospitality, retail, customer service, semi-professional sport and university.

If you want to learn how customers are actually won — not read about it — this is where you start.

What your first 6 months look like

  • Weeks 1–4: Shadow an experienced team member. Learn the brands, the campaigns, the pitch.
  • Months 2–3: Run your own customer conversations with support. Start earning commission.
  • Months 4–6: Take on campaign responsibility, mentor new starters, and step toward Campaign Lead.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
