Are you a creative marketer looking for a role where you can do more than simply support from the sidelines?

Osbornes Law is an award-winning London law firm that has been helping individuals and families for more than 50 years. We are looking for a Marketing Assistant with at least one year’s relevant experience to join our small and ambitious marketing and business development team.

This is a varied, hands-on role covering digital marketing, content, events, communications, and business development. As part of a team of three, you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, take ownership of projects, and make a visible impact.

You will work closely with our Head of Business Development, who has more than 20 years’ experience and a strong reputation for thinking outside the box to create exciting, distinctive, and memorable campaigns. There is plenty of room to shine. We are looking for someone with creative flair, confidence in their ideas, and a genuine desire to learn, develop, and progress.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience within a law firm or professional-services organization would be useful, but it is not essential. We are more interested in finding someone with the right marketing experience, ideas, attitude, and ambition.

Experience using a content management system, Mailchimp, or a CRM platform would also be an advantage.
