Role Description
The Marketing Assistant role is a full-time hybrid position based in Basingstoke, with some flexibility to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting marketing campaigns, assisting with market research, and helping to maintain and update digital and offline marketing materials. The role involves coordinating with partners and team members to promote services, preparing marketing content for newsletters and social media, and tracking basic performance metrics for campaigns. The Marketing Assistant will also support customer service and sales activities by responding to inquiries, helping prepare proposals, and contributing to client communications. This position is well-suited to an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.

- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.
- Ability to conduct Market Research and analyze findings to support marketing and business development initiatives.
- Customer Service skills with a client-focused approach and the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Sales and Sales & Marketing skills to assist in promoting services, supporting campaign execution, and contributing to lead generation.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., email, social media) and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent) and comfort working with spreadsheets and documents.
- Relevant education or experience in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is beneficial but not strictly required.
