The specialist function team, where this role sits, is critical to the growth and performance of Gate One. The teams in Marketing, Finance & Commercial and People & Talent work in close partnership with the leadership team and Havas to facilitate growth, maintain quality and control, drive performance and support high-quality decision making. Not only do the functions deliver business as usual activities, but they also design and implement change projects, focusing on optimization, preparing the business for scale.
As our profile, campaigns and growth ambitions continue to expand, we're looking for a proactive and organized Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of our marketing programme. This role will report to the Senior Marketing Manager but will be operating as part of a team of 7 and will be working with all team members.

Supporting the delivery of marketing activities:
- Upload website content and format WordPress pages based on agreed briefs, page structures and brand/content guidance
- Populate social media templates for LinkedIn
- Support social media delivery by preparing post templates and scheduling drafts for review
- Support event delivery through registration administration, RSVP tracking, invitation coordination, attendee communications and on-the-day logistics
- Build and schedule internal and external emails and newsletters using approved copy, templates and distribution lists
- Helping to develop and coordinate external communications pieces such as press releases, case studies and awards/rankings submissions
- Supporting the analyst relations function by helping to organise briefings with analysts and members of Gate One SLT team; scheduling meetings and creating briefing notes and accompanying decks
- Coordinate awards and rankings submissions

Helping maintain efficient marketing operations:
- Maintain CRM distribution lists and campaign records
- Maintain project trackers, team plans and shared documents
- Process purchase orders, invoices and supplier administration
- Support CRM data management hygiene and contact list maintenance
- Organise marketing assets, headshots, merchandise and templates
- Assist with marketing reporting and performance tracking
Person Specification
This is an entry-level position so this role is ideal for someone at the start of their marketing career, but experience gained working in a marketing role would be advantageous, as would a marketing or business degree.

Essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Teams
- Comfortable learning new systems and tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Desirable
- Previous marketing, communications, events or administrative experience
- Experience using social media platforms in a professional setting
- Familiarity with marketing, CRM or content management platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, WordPress or similar systems

This role is based at Havas Village, London (3 St Pancras Square, London, NC1 3AG) for a minimum of two days per week (working from home available for a maximum of three days per week).
