Pear Recruitment - Marketing Assistant

Salary - £28,000 - £35,000
Location – Finsbury Park
Employment Type - Full-time, in-house

Our client is a small, independent business with ambitious plans for the future. With an exciting new brand identity about to launch, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at an important stage of its journey. You’ll have the chance to play a key role in bringing the new brand to life, make a genuine difference from day one, and grow alongside a team that is focused on achieving big things.

They are looking for someone with real energy, enthusiasm and ambition. You’ll be naturally proactive, positive and curious, with plenty of ideas and, importantly, the confidence and initiative to turn those ideas into action. You’ll be someone who enjoys getting stuck in, takes pride in doing things properly and isn’t afraid to take ownership.

Personality matters too. We’re looking for someone warm, approachable and easy to work with, who can build strong relationships while still being focused on delivering results. You’ll be confident in your abilities, comfortable working collaboratively but equally happy taking responsibility and running with something independently.

Above all, this is a role for someone who wants to be involved, have their voice heard and help shape what comes next. If you’re motivated, switched-on and excited by the opportunity to be part of a growing business during an exciting period of change, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
