Role Overview
Working Pattern:
- Monday – Thursday 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, one hour lunch
- Friday 8 AM to 3:00 PM, one hour lunch
- 39 hrs per week
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Reports to: Regional Marketing Coordinator

Sikla is a global manufacturer and supplier of engineered modular steel support systems for industrial construction projects. Our solutions help customers install mechanical and electrical support systems more efficiently, saving time and reducing costs. We work closely with customers throughout each stage of the project, from design and engineering support through to supply and installation training.
Founded in 1967 in Germany, Sikla employs more than 900 employees across Europe, North America, Oceania, and Middle East with products sold in over 40 countries worldwide through Sikla subsidiaries and official distributors.
The role
We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Assistant to join our Milton Keynes team and support marketing activities across the UK & Ireland.
This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to a wide range of marketing activities including social media, content creation, events, digital marketing, and reporting. You will help deliver campaigns and strategies that strengthen Sikla’s brand awareness while collaborating with colleagues across the UK, Ireland, Middle East, Europe, North America, and Oceania, gaining valuable experience within a global B2B organisation.

Your duties and key responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to help grow Sikla’s online presence in line with the marketing plan and strategies
- Support the management of digital channels including the website, blog, YouTube, and Google Business Profile
- Update the website and blogs with content and basic SEO to improve search engine visibility and traffic
- Assist in planning and developing email marketing communications and newsletters
- Monitor and report on social media and digital marketing performance using analytics tools
- Research industry and marketing trends to support marketing activities
- Collaborate with local, regional, and international marketing teams to develop and deliver marketing campaigns that support marketing KPIs including website traffic, lead generation, and social media engagement
- Assist in the coordination of internal and external events
- Create and update marketing materials including brochures, catalogues, presentations, and promotional merchandise
- Order and manage stock levels of promotional items and marketing materials
- Support internal and external communications with business updates
- Support the Regional Marketing Coordinator with ad hoc marketing activities and administrative tasks to support the growth of the business
Your Profile
- Minimum 1 year experience or relevant study in Marketing
- A passion for marketing and communications
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Creative mindset and a willingness to learn
- An interest in using data and insights to improve marketing performance
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding social media best practices, including image and post sizing requirements across major platforms for optimisation
- Experience in using Canva or similar software (essential)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications (desirable)
- Experience with HubSpot or similar content management systems (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
