Role overview
Company: SJW Property Management Limited
Role: Part-time Marketing Assistant (Property Management)
Reports to: Marketing Executive
Location: Remote; candidates able to work part of the time on site at our City of London office (EC3R) are preferred
Hours: 2–3 days a week; specific arrangements can be agreed. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30. Part-time staff do not need to be on duty all day, but must work and stay in contact within these hours.
Pay: Hourly rate (no less than the UK National Minimum Wage, negotiable based on ability); or project-based (a full quote is required)
Start date: October 2026
About us
SJW Property Management Limited is a compliant, industry-regulated lettings and property management company in London. We provide end-to-end management for landlords worldwide, especially Chinese-speaking landlords, from tenant finding and move-in to inspections, maintenance and move-out. Our marketing team is building a content system for landlords around the world across YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Bilibili and WeChat.
This role works closely with our Marketing and Business Development (BD) teams to publish content consistently, accurately and on time across every platform, while gaining an in-depth understanding of our compliant, regulated property management business, professional industry knowledge and policy updates.
Responsibilities

Publishing and account management
- Upload approved videos and posts to each platform, writing titles, descriptions and tags to each platform's standards
- Maintain the content calendar so that every account publishes daily as scheduled
- Day-to-day account upkeep: profile information, pinned content and playlists

Content support
- Create covers, social posts and other basic designs with Canva and AI tools, following brand templates
- Produce multilingual subtitles for YouTube videos (training provided)
- Pre-publication checks: typos, subtitles, property details, relevant industry information and links
- After training, support standardised on-site filming (such as property B-roll)
Assets and data
- Manage the archive of footage and final videos: store them in the cloud under the company naming convention, with raw footage and final cuts kept separately
- Compile weekly platform data and support basic performance analysis
- Log comments, messages and enquiries, record lead sources and pass them promptly to the relevant colleagues
Requirements
- Fluent in Chinese and English, able to write platform copy and descriptions in English independently
- A good eye for design, confident with Canva or similar tools
- Confident using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, AI design and subtitle tools) for copy, design and daily work
- Some platform analytics ability: able to read back-end data on each platform and suggest improvements
- Familiar with publishing and back-end operations on major social media platforms
- Detail-oriented, with care for the accuracy of words, numbers and links
- Basic video editing skills are enough (main editing is handled by a dedicated team)
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Cantonese or Traditional Chinese
- Experience running international social media accounts (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.); no property industry experience required
- Design and branding background
- Strong at content planning and scheduling
- Able to film steady, clean B-roll on a phone
- Experience with social media management tools such as Metricool or Buffer
