Who we're looking for
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our digital agency on a 3-month contract. You will be assisting with client marketing campaigns on paid social, PPC, TV, OOH, and other channels. Alongside that, you will assist with Ardent's own marketing.
About Ardent
Ardent is a specialist marketing agency for the education sector. We help schools, universities, and learning providers grow through exceptional content and smart advertising.
With more than 20 years' experience, 100+ education clients, and 500+ campaigns delivered, we bring strategy, creative production, and digital marketing together under one roof. That covers everything from brand films and animation to paid social, PPC, and SEO/AEO.
The role
This is a great chance to learn how a specialist agency grows some of the best-known names in education. You'll work alongside our strategy, creative, and digital teams from day one.
As our Marketing Assistant, you'll support client campaigns across digital channels. You'll help with getting campaigns live, prepare reports, and keep assets up to date and make sure projects land on time. You'll get hands-on experience with paid social, PPC, and campaign reporting for schools, universities, and other learning providers.
You'll also sink your teeth into Ardent's own marketing, from social content and lead magnets to awards entries and case studies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
