JOB VACANCY: MARKETING ASSISTANT, REPORTING TO HEAD OF MARKETING & BRAND - SIX THE MUSICAL

THE COMPANY

Ex-Wives Limited was established in 2019 and holds the rights for SIX the Musical worldwide. Led by Producers Kenny Wax, Andy & Wendy Barnes, and George Stiles, Ex-Wives Ltd currently employs a full-time team of six people covering licensing, international general management, and producing and marketing, working with numerous freelance colleagues and partners all over the world. SIX is currently playing in five countries and will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2027.

THE ROLE

This new role has been created to ensure we have additional support on all the marketing and campaign activity for SIX the Musical. The new person will provide administrative assistance and practical support as the brand continues to grow and develop and support the Head of Marketing & Brand and Marketing Coordinator across all campaigns and international territories.

  • Assist with artwork briefing to our in-house Graphic Designer
  • Assist with print and distribution
  • Assist with key show statistics and information documents
  • Review online listings and ensure tracking is updated
  • Support audience development and outreach programme
  • Arrange postage/couriers when required
  • Coordinate all Marketing related meetings, diaries and agendas
  • Cover all marketing agendas, meeting notes and disseminate accordingly
  • Provide practical assistance with Marketing and Brand events where required (e.g., Photo shoots, West End Flea Market, West End Live)

SALES & TICKETING

  • Update the budget with daily box office figures
  • Book tickets in with the box office
  • Venue liaison

SOCIAL & CONTENT

  • Asset creation using Canva
  • Support filming content for social media channels
  • Support content ideation

DIGITAL & WEBSITE

  • Build the SIXth of the Month newsletter
  • Make amends and updates to the SIX website
  • Manage the main SIX email inbox

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Minimum of one year’s experience in a marketing office environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A strong work ethic

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Experience of working on a West End production
  • Interest in musical theatre
  • Interest and awareness of social media

FURTHER INFORMATION

  • Contract: Full time, permanent position
  • Hours: 40 hours per week 10am - 6pm, in person
  • Salary: £27,000
  • Location: Head Office in Covent Garden (nearest tube Holborn); successful candidate will need to be office-based
