Role overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our Business Development team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a communications or marketing graduate/professional to gain hands-on experience across content creation, digital marketing, events and campaign delivery.
You will play a key role in creating and managing content across a variety of channels, including articles, publications, social media and marketing materials. You will help maintain our social media calendar, support the delivery of events and campaigns, and act as a central point of contact for marketing activity across the firm.
The role offers exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships across client-facing teams while developing your skills in coordination and project management. Strong writing skills, creativity and organisation are essential.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, working closely with the Marketing Executive and Senior Marketing Executive.
- Create, edit and manage a range of content including articles, publications, web pages and marketing materials, ensuring high quality and consistency.
- Maintain and deliver the social media calendar, drafting and scheduling posts, monitoring performance and suggesting improvements.
- Act as a central point of contact for marketing activity, coordinating with internal teams, Partners and external stakeholders to gather content and ensure deadlines are met.
- Research industry topics, client needs and market trends to identify opportunities for new content and thought leadership.
- Assist in the coordination and delivery of events, including logistics, communications, invitations and post-event engagement.
- Write clear, engaging marketing copy to promote services and enhance the firm’s profile.
- Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, tone and brand consistency across all channels.
- Apply SEO principles and keyword research to improve visibility and engagement.
- Ensure consistency across all marketing outputs (style, tone, imagery and brand).
- Support the design and production of marketing collateral, including brochures and publications, using tools such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
- Provide general support to the wider Marketing team as required.

Person Specification
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- A 2:1 or above in English, Journalism or Marketing degree.
- Naturally creative with the ability to bring new ideas and enhance existing ones.
- Strong written English language skills, and an ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Being organised is a must and you will need to be comfortable juggling competing demands.
- A team player, able to rapidly build trust with Partners and senior staff.
- A strong grasp of Word and PowerPoint.
- Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite desirable.
