Who are you?
We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and creative team member. The ideal candidate will be an organised, driven, and responsible individual who possesses good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an empathetic outlook.
This role would suit a graduate looking to start their marketing career in publishing or in one of our main sectors. Alternatively, it would also suit someone looking to move into marketing from another area.
Research shows that some people are tentative about applying for roles if they do not meet 100% of the requirements. At Pavilion, we believe that your passion, drive, and interest are highly-valued. So, if this role excites you, please do apply and tell us about yourself, even if you don’t match all the experience and skills required.
Job Overview
This role forms part of the marketing team, working alongside the Head of Marketing and two Marketing Managers. It also works closely with other internal teams, including the Publishing, Digital, Design, and Customer Services teams.
The successful candidate will work across all of our main sectors, which include learning disability, neurodiversity, health and social care, psychology, and English language teaching. Within these areas, we publish a variety of materials including books and magazines, and host online events. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns for many of these products as well as supporting the marketing team in wider projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
