Are you passionate about Marketing? Then look no further, come and join us at Hope House Children’s Hospices by playing a vital role in achieving ‘Our Mission’ Helping every child with a life-threatening condition live their best life.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Communications team based in Oswestry, on a full-time, permanent basis, with hybrid working. In return, we offer a salary of £26,695 - £31,248 per annum, depending on experience.

About The Marketing Assistant Role

As our Marketing Assistant, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of a wide range of design and print activities across the charity. Working with teams across the charity, you'll help create and coordinate printed materials, support direct mail campaigns and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and in line with our brand guidelines.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same. One day you could be briefing a designer on an event poster, the next you could be organising a direct mail appeal, coordinating print orders, or supporting the refurbishment of a new charity shop.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
