The role...
We are looking for an organised and dynamic self-starter to join the Trtl team as Marketing Assistant on a six-month contract through peak trading and into 2027. This is an ideal opportunity for a driven graduate or marketing professional in the early stages of their career, looking to develop a broad skillset across ecommerce trading, paid channels, and organic content.
You will support the team with a varied mix of day-to-day tasks and project-specific initiatives - from campaign launches across all channels (web, Amazon, TikTok), content production, merchandising, events, organic social video, and more.
This role is flexible hybrid working from Trtl's Glasgow HQ (full-time - 3 days in office) - salary dependent on experience, £23,000 > £26,000 (6 months pro rata) with potential to extend dependent on 2027 business requirements.
Key responsibilities...
ECOMMERCE & CRO SUPPORT
- Assist the Senior Trading Executive with management of Shopify (web), including but not limited to on-site merchandising, coordinating CRO tests, promotion, and campaign launches, market-level initiatives
- Support in generating reporting and analytics for trading management across channels Amazon and Shopify (web)
- Assist the Senior Trading Executive with product launches and content management for Amazon and TikTok Shop

CONTENT & SOCIAL
- Support on campaign and ecommerce shoots including but not limited to coordinating studio set up and styling, sourcing props, styling models
- Provide production support for the brand team (organic social / PR / events) for key calendar moments across peak / Q1
CRM & PAID CHANNELS
- Assist the Senior CRM Executive with coordination of campaign builds and scheduling across SMS and email + broader customer lifecycle and retention initiatives
- Provide support for the coordination of creative across paid channels, assisting the Performance Marketing Lead / external agencies in production of UGC and creator content, campaign builds and optimizations. Including but not limited to activity across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Applovin, Youtube, and Google
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT & REPORTING

- Working closely with the Senior Trading Executive, leverage AI workflow tools to support in the automation and delivery of trading reporting for all channels
- Provide agile daily support where required across the production of creative assets and copy for Shopify (web) and Amazon
About you...
Requirements
- An agile and innately creative thinker with the right balance of attention to detail and the ability to get the job done
- Fast learner with strong organisation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge working in Excel, Powerpoint, and Canva
- Familiarity with AI tools including but not limited to Chat GPT & Claude
- Thrive in a team, but confident in managing your own tasks independently.
Nice to have
- Marketing degree or admin and marketing experience beneficial but not essential
- Experience within a fast-paced start-up / SME is not essential but will make you a great fit for the Trtl team culture and ways of working
- Experience with ecommerce platforms, like Shopify, and marketing scheduling tools
