Marketing Assistant Opportunity
A great opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our brilliant Marketing team in the position of Marketing Assistant. This is a fixed term contract expected to run for a period of nine months.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Assistant will act as part of the wider UK Marketing team, supporting the delivery of campaigns for the Company's portfolio of core brands.
- Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns
- Managing social media channels
- Assisting with a wide range of marketing activities to help drive brand awareness and business growth
- Co-ordinating marketing events
- Assisting with the development, execution, and monitoring of email, digital, social media, and content marketing campaigns
- Contributing to creating content and conducting relevant market research

Key tasks and accountabilities will include the following:
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media, or content marketing, collaborating with other team members outside of the digital arena.
- Assist with and on occasion, independently coordinate marketing events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral.
- Coordinate product, event, or content email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, testing, and database management.
- Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analysing key metrics and creating comprehensive reports.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness.
- Conduct market research and identify trends, competitor analysis, and micro and macro market insights.
- Supporting the sales team with collateral.
This list is not exhaustive, and the successful candidate will be expected to undertake any other task as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer.

Requirements
Applicants should possess experience gained in a similar role, a good working knowledge of all core marketing areas, including content marketing, copywriting, multi-media, print, digital, social media, direct marketing, design skills, and promotional marketing and demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation capabilities, coupled with the ability to simultaneously control various projects. Possessing a degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is essential.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a 'can do' attitude, possess the ability to use available software packages in the marketing field and advanced Microsoft office skills.
It is essential applicants possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate a collaborative approach, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work with speed and accuracy.
Due to the geographical locations of the Company and client base, it is essential applicants hold a full UK driving licence.
