Reports to: Marketing Manager
The Marketing Department is responsible for creating best-in-class marketing campaigns that maintain and grow Space NK’s customer base. The team focuses on increasing brand awareness to acquire new customers, while engaging existing customers to drive loyalty and increase customer lifetime value (LTV).
Our award-winning Marketing Department consists of four teams:
- Brand Marketing
- Brand Partnerships
- Content
- Paid Advertising
Role Overview
The Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Marketing team with the planning and execution of marketing activity across an allocated category.
The role will play a key part in building and maintaining strong relationships with brand partners, developing marketing plans, supporting campaign execution and reporting on the performance of marketing activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend meetings for the allocated category, taking clear notes and sharing key actions and next steps with relevant stakeholders.
- Create presentations to communicate marketing plans and activity, ensuring all materials are aligned with Space NK’s brand identity and visual guidelines.
- Brief marketing assets to the relevant Design, Copy and Print teams, ensuring all activity is delivered in line with agreed critical paths and deadlines.
- Support the Marketing team in delivering activations for the allocated category, including packing goody bags, attending events and actively engaging with customers and the public to drive participation and brand awareness.
- Support relationships with brand partners, ensuring they are kept informed of upcoming Space NK activity and have the relevant assets required to support campaigns across their own marketing channels.
- Assist with internal communications and campaign briefings, ensuring relevant teams across Space NK are informed and aligned on upcoming launches, campaigns and marketing events.
- Distribute product samples provided by brand partners to internal teams for use across relevant marketing touchpoints.
- Create and maintain reports to track and communicate the performance of marketing activity.
- Stay up to date with beauty, retail and consumer trends, conducting regular competitor research and industry analysis to identify new opportunities and initiatives.
- Support the Marketing team with general administrative tasks, including organising documents, maintaining campaign trackers and keeping marketing materials and information up to date.
- Work collaboratively with wider teams across Space NK to ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered effectively and on time.
