Marketing Assistant

Plastic Extrusion & Ancillary Equipment | £28,000 - £30,000 | Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne

Join a growing specialist supplier. Be our marketing lead.

We are an 11-person team supplying plastic extrusion lines, bag making equipment and ancillary equipment in the UK and Ireland. We are busy, technical, and growing — and we need someone to own our marketing and help drive leads.

No big corporate team. You will work directly with the MD. If you like seeing your hard work turn into real orders, then this is the role for you.

What you will do

  • Lead Generation: Run LinkedIn, website, and email campaigns targeting plastics processors and OEMs.
  • Technical Content: Turn technical specifications for extrusion lines, bag making machines, screen changers, repelletisers, material conveying systems, dryers, blenders, granulators etc into mail shots, case studies.
  • Digital: Keep website updated, SEO basics, post 2-3x per week on LinkedIn with installations, machine trials and project wins.
  • Events: Support 2-3 trade shows/year including K Fair, Interplas, Plastics Live. Manage stand, literature, and lead follow-up.
  • Sales Support: Help manage CRM (SalesForce), internal knowledge base, track competitors, create presentations, help answer customer enquiries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
