Job Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and organised Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This exciting role is perfect for someone passionate about food, marketing, and communications. The ideal candidate will assist in various marketing initiatives, support senior team members, and collaborate with both internal and external teams to drive creative projects forward.
This position is a 12 month long work placement, aimed at students in between their 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate course who are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
Experience working in a professional setting, ideally in a marketing or food related industry (preferred but not essential).
Role Responsibility
Main Responsibilities
- Assist senior team members in projects including external agencies, such as impact reporting, experiential activations, workshops and brand communications.
- Liaison with internal departments – coordinate competitor tastings with the food team between both the London & Quarry kitchen.
- Offer creative direction and ideas on advertising, social media & project proposals.
- Assist with the creation and launch of a new communications platform.
- Provide support in Consumer Services, responding to customer calls and emails.
- Willingness to take a lead role in planning and lending a hand at events, festivals and other activities which may fall out of working hours.
- Responsibility for procuring samples, arranging couriers, sending out promos, vouchers and prizes.
- Assist the team in the day-to-day running of the department and internal competitions and activities.
