We are looking for a Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to provide both proactive and practical support across our marketing and communications activity. The role will suit someone highly organised and detail-oriented, who is keen to develop their marketing experience in a busy professional services environment.
Specific Duties
Working as part of the marketing team, this role supports day-to-day marketing operations, including internal and external communications, the organisation and running of events, and carrying out essential administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
- Preparation of marketing communications such as email campaigns using the LEX Marketing module and social media posts using LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube;
- Regular updating and maintenance of the Quadrant website including news items, announcements, articles, and barristers’ profiles;
- Preparing and updating barrister CVs using InDesign;
- Updating the digital reception boards and intranet on a weekly basis;
- Assisting with the organisation of events such as seminars, drinks receptions, and dinners, including the creation of invitation lists, presentation slides, name badges, and other event materials, liaising with venues and caterers, as well as providing hands-on support with event set up / set down and audio-visual;
- Maintaining and updating client information on the LEX database and circulating monthly new contact reports;
- Assisting with annual submissions for the Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 directories by liaising with members and preparing drafts;
- Ordering marketing collateral and branded merchandise and overseeing stock levels;
- Attending ‘Route to Market’ group meetings and other internal marketing and business development meetings;
- Other administrative tasks as required (e.g. booking flights, accommodation, and venues, requesting quotes) in support of marketing activities and the Head of Marketing.

Person Specification
This role would suit a candidate with some previous marketing experience, or someone with a strong administrative background who is looking to broaden their remit and develop in marketing. The successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to changing priorities, manage several tasks simultaneously, and work both independently and collaboratively in a busy environment. Knowledge or experience of the legal profession would be helpful but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or similar design tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
