Marketing Assistant
Location: London – office based
Employment Type: Full-time
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Marketing Assistant to join our group marketing team. This is a junior role, perfect for a graduate or someone taking their first step into the marketing world. You’ll work closely with our UK and SA teams, and no two days will be the same – one moment you might be helping to set up a stand at an event, the next you could be supporting the team on major projects, and everything in between.
This is a truly varied, hands-on role where you’ll get exposure to all areas of marketing. No experience is required – we’re looking for someone who is tech-savvy, eager to learn, and ambitious. You’ll need a sharp eye for detail and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in whatever needs doing. If you’re the kind of person who sees a task and thinks “I can do that”, you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, schedule, and send promotional email campaigns, including managing email lists and reporting on basic performance metrics.
- Create co-branded collateral for partners using existing templates, ensuring everything aligns with our brand guidelines.
- Provide light-touch design support for social assets, one-pagers, and sales decks – you should have a good eye for what looks polished and professional.
- Set up and update webpages using our content management system.
- Assist in setting up marketing workflows and automations, such as lead nurturing sequences.
- Ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly.
- Support the team by building and formatting high-quality presentations in PowerPoint/Google Slides.
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative marketing tasks to keep the team running smoothly – from organising files to helping out at events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
