Marketing Associate – Design, Content & Growth
Location: Hammersmith, London
Working pattern: Full-time, office-based, 5 days per week
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per annum
Experience: 1–3 years
About the Role
We’re looking for a bright, creative and highly adaptable Marketing Associate to join our growing marketing team in Hammersmith.
This is a junior, cross-functional role designed for someone who wants broad exposure to the full marketing function rather than being confined to one specialism.
You’ll work across Product Marketing, Brand, Content, Demand Generation and E-commerce, supporting everything from campaign delivery and social content to sales materials, design projects, photography, video, research, coordination and day-to-day marketing operations.
We’re looking for a genuine Swiss Army knife: someone creative but organised, commercially curious, comfortable getting stuck into the detail and happy switching between design, writing, coordination and execution.
One day you might be creating social assets, the next supporting a product launch, preparing a sales deck, helping organise a shoot or pulling together campaign materials.
For the right person, this role offers an unusually broad view of how a modern marketing function operates and the opportunity to develop quickly across multiple disciplines.
What You’ll Be Doing
Content & Creative
- Support the creation of engaging content across social media, website, email, campaigns and other marketing channels.
- Create and adapt visual assets for digital and offline use.
- Support social media content creation, including graphics, short-form video, photography and written copy.
- Assist with filming and photography when required, including capturing content around the business, properties, events and campaigns.
- Support basic video editing, asset preparation and creative production.
- Help maintain consistency across brand assets, templates and marketing collateral.
- Work with internal and external designers, videographers and creative partners where required.
Writing & Communications
- Write and edit clear, engaging and grammatically strong marketing copy.
- Support the development of emails, landing pages, social posts, campaign messaging, presentations and internal communications.
- Turn ideas and briefs into concise, polished written outputs.
- Proofread and quality-check marketing materials before publication.
- Excellent written English and a strong instinct for how brands communicate will be important in this role.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
You’ll ideally have 1–3 years of relevant professional experience within marketing, design, content, creative or a related environment.
You may come from a traditional marketing background, or you may be a designer who wants to move into a broader commercial and marketing role.
We’re particularly interested in candidates with a degree or equivalent experience in:
- Marketing
- UI/UX Design
- Graphic Design
- Digital Design
- Communications
or a related creative or commercial discipline.
You’ll Need
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong writing, proofreading and communication skills.
- A strong visual and design instinct.
- An understanding of good UI/UX and digital design principles.
- Confidence creating content for social media.
- Basic graphic design capability and familiarity with tools such as Canva, Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
- An interest in photography, videography and short-form video.

- Good attention to detail.
- The ability to manage several small projects simultaneously.
- Confidence working with different teams and personalities.
- Curiosity about marketing, technology, brands and digital products.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
The Person We’re Looking For
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is resourceful.
You’re the kind of person who sees something that needs doing and gets involved.
You might be equally comfortable opening Figma to make a quick asset, writing copy for a campaign, helping someone prepare a sales deck, filming content on an iPhone, researching competitors or organising the logistics behind a marketing project.
You don’t need to be an expert in all of these areas yet.
What matters is that you have strong foundations, good judgement, creative curiosity and the willingness to develop.
Working Environment
This is an office-based role in our Hammersmith office, five days per week.
We believe the breadth of the position works best when the Marketing Associate is embedded within the team, able to collaborate closely, learn quickly and get involved in projects as they happen.
