The Team
EU Promotions (Commercial Strategy & Marketing Operations)
Wayfair believes everyone should live in a home they love. Through technology and innovation, Wayfair makes it possible for shoppers to quickly and easily find exactly what they want from a selection of millions of items across home furnishings, décor, home improvement, housewares and more. Committed to delighting its customers every step of the way, Wayfair is reinventing the way people shop for their homes - from product discovery to final delivery.
About The Role
As the Promotions Associate, you will help us innovate some of our most important promotional activities, including Flash Deals, Promo Codes and Major Campaigns, ensuring that these programs are AI-forward.
Wayfair is a two-sided marketplace and our promotions are largely supplier-funded so understanding not only the customer offering but also translating this to actionable insights for our suppliers is key. You will help play a key role in translating this customer-focused vision to internal stakeholders and to our suppliers. You will help push product recommendations en masse using the latest AI tools, track progress of submissions, and ensure that all our offerings work seamlessly with one other delivering a seamless customer experience. You will also make sure selected products meet the campaign brief, pricing and availability requirements.
You will help shape what comes next by planning new offer types such as bundles, rebates and coupons for the UK and Ireland. This is a hands-on, technical role with an expectation that you own the deliverables end-to-end. You will work independently with product and pricing data, juggling different campaign types on a tight timeline, and ensure teams across the business are brought along the journey.
What You’ll Do
- Own projects from start to finish: Turn an objective into a clear plan, identify the steps and dependencies, manage the timeline, coordinate stakeholders and close the loop without needing constant follow-up from your manager.
- Problem-solve in an operationally complex environment: Understand the differences between campaign types and markets, follow the right process for each one, and solve issues quickly when something does not look right.
- Play the role of a global cross-functional liaison: Act as the primary bridge between:
- Shanghai & NA: Partnering with tech and promo teams to influence global roadmaps.
- CMUK & Supplier Marketing: Helping category managers identify the best products for curated offers.
- Onsite & Email Teams: Ensuring our offers are surfaced effectively across all customer touchpoints.
- Analytical Triage:
- Partner with Promo Analysts to track key performance metrics, and leverage the data to improve and innovate on processes and new offerings.
- Monitor and assess the performance of promotional offers in each market, identify trends (incl. market developments, customer behavior, and competitor activities), and generate data-driven insights to refine and enhance future campaigns.
- Make promotion operations more efficient: Look for practical ways to simplify recurring work, improve quality checks and use AI where it can make the team faster and more effective.
- Scope the Future (New Offers): Lead the discovery and planning for new promotional types (e.g., product bundles, manufacturer rebates, coupons). You’ll work with North American counterparts to "import" best practices while tailoring them for the UK/IE markets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Who You Are
- Independent and proactive: You take ownership of your work, have the patience to work through detailed processes, work out the next steps and raise questions, risks and blockers early.
- Ownership-minded: Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude, while maintaining a customer-lense (e.g., understand what a good customer experience looks like)
- Project-minded and curious: You do not just follow instructions. You want to understand the objective, break work into clear steps, identify dependencies and trade-offs, coordinate stakeholders and close projects properly.
- Detail-Oriented: You have the "patience for the process." You can master complex internal tools and have an eagle eye for QA to ensure millions of customers see the right price at the right time.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment: You can manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines, switch between campaign workflows and maintain accuracy when things change.
- A strong communicator with commercial curiosity: You ask targeted questions and communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly across teams. You also care about why a product is selected for a promotion and how that choice affects margin, customer demand and customer loyalty.
- Someone with a proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with high stakes and tight deadlines.
The Requirements
- Experience in e-commerce, consulting, or a fast-moving startup environment.
- Analytical Foundations: Advanced Excel is a must (Pivots, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning). SQL or GBQ is a plus, not a requirement.
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative or business field (Math, Econ, Engineering, etc.).
Why This Role?
This is a high-visibility role with a direct impact on the UK and Ireland businesses. You will learn how a large e-commerce promotions engine works while owning both the operational detail of live campaigns and the development of new ways to offer value to customers and suppliers, giving you a unique 360-degree view of how a multi-billion dollar e-commerce engine actually runs.
