About the Role
LOVE SUM is a food start-up founded by MasterChef finalist Sandy Tang, making amazing dumplings fresh here in the UK. You might have seen us on Dragons’ Den (with Peter Jones offering to invest) — and you’ll now find us in Sainsbury’s, Ocado and beyond.
We’re looking for a Marketing & Brand Executive to join our CMO as the second person in our marketing team.
This is very much a start-up job. Small team. Lots going on. Plenty to build. Ideas can become actual things quickly. You’ll get involved in stuff that would probably belong to five different people in a bigger company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
Graduate Consultant — 2026 Scheme

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
There’ll be brand, campaigns, social, content, retail, new products, packaging, events, creative, merch and plenty we haven’t thought of yet.
Some things you’ll own. Some you’ll work on with the CMO and founders. And sometimes everyone will just get stuck in and sort something out.
We want someone who enjoys that.
Someone bright and creative who thinks and does. Who can have an idea and then help make it happen. Who likes trying things, learning quickly and doesn’t need six meetings before getting started.
You could be an FMCG Marketing Executive / Assistant Brand Manager looking for more variety and responsibility.

Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Or an agency SAE / Account Manager who fancies going client-side and getting properly involved in one brand.
You don’t need to know everything. You do need to be curious, useful, organised and up for learning quickly.
If you want a perfectly defined job with very clear edges, this probably isn’t it.
If the idea of joining a small team, getting stuck in and helping build something sounds like fun, it might be.
