3 Days/Week, 6-Month Contract
You're the person who can turn a half-formed idea into a deck by end of day - and knows why it'll land, not just how it looks.
About BDA London
BDA London is a creative consultancy and trend forecasting business with over 40 years' experience across fashion, retail, lifestyle and consumer industries. Our work combines trend intelligence, creative thinking and applied retail insight, delivered through bespoke consultancy and TrendHub, our subscription trend forecasting platform.
We're building a more consistent, commercially focused business, and marketing is central to that — helping us communicate clearly, build visibility, and give our commercial team and international agent network the tools they need to sell.
We've got 40 years behind us, but right now this feels a lot like a start-up: we're figuring out our story, moving fast, and building the infrastructure as we go. TrendHub is the product at the centre of our momentum, and the job isn't to describe what's in the report — it's to make people want, need and understand the WHY behind it.
THE ROLE
We need a hands-on Marketing & Brand Manager to lead sales enablement and campaign activity for BDA London and TrendHub. This is a focused, part-time role: three days a week, six months, with clear priorities rather than a full marketing function to build from scratch.
You'll take what BDA and TrendHub are already producing — trend reports, insight, client work — and turn it into the sales materials and launch activity that get it in front of agents, retailers and buyers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Enablement (primary focus)
- Alongside Commercial Lead, Create and maintain sales decks, one-pagers and product materials for TrendHub and BDA London consultancy
- Develop and manage marketing packs for our international agent network
- Build case studies, client stories and credentials materials — including for the website
- Support the commercial team with materials for pitches, meetings and outreach
- Keep sales materials current, consistent and easy for the team and agents to use

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Launch Process & Campaigns
- Build a repeatable process for TrendHub launches — the goal is consistent noise around every release, not one-off scrambles
- Working with commercial lead, plan and run campaign activity around TrendHub releases and key BDA moments (social, email, sales collateral working together)
- Coordinate with the Creative team to source and adapt imagery and content for launches
- Track what's working across launches and use it to improve the next one
Brand & Content
- Write and edit marketing copy that sells the case for TrendHub, not just describes what's in it — across sales materials, email, social and website content
- Manage a simple content calendar around launches and commercial priorities
- Publish content on LinkedIn and Instagram
- Help maintain a consistent, elevated BDA and TrendHub brand across the materials you touch
Working with the Tech Team
- Work alongside tech team as marketing tooling (HubSpot) comes online — email, forms and campaign tracking move across as it's built
- Coordinate on website content updates (case studies, credentials, page copy) as fixes and improvements roll out
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Around 4–7 years' marketing experience, ideally within fashion, retail, forecasting, lifestyle, design, media or another creative industry (preferred, not a must have).
You'll be:
- Hands-on — happy to write the copy and build the deck yourself, and quick about it. You're not waiting on a perfect brief to get moving
- A strong writer — able to turn complex ideas into clear, commercial communication
- Sales-oriented — you think about what makes someone say yes, not just what looks good
- You just get it — you can spot the value proposition in something and get it into a deck or a line of copy without needing it over-explained
- Organised — comfortable juggling multiple live priorities at once without dropping balls
- Fashion and retail aware — genuinely interested in trends, retail and the wider industry
- Scrappy and self-starting — ideally some startup or fast-moving environment experience, where you built process as you went rather than had one handed to you
- Genuinely plugged into what's current and cool — you know why something is worth paying attention to before everyone else does, and you can make that case for TrendHub

You'll Ideally Have Experience With
- Creating sales and marketing collateral (decks, one-pagers, case studies)
- PowerPoint / Keynote and Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- LinkedIn and Instagram experience
- Email marketing (HubSpot)
- Working with creative teams and commercial stakeholders
- Some comfort with Wix or similar website platforms — not essential, but you'll be a quick learner if it's new to you
What Success Looks Like
After six months, we want to see:
- A repeatable Trendhub launch process that generates real noise around each TrendHub release
- A stronger, more professional library of Trendhub and BDA London sales and agent materials
- Marketing that's visibly supporting commercial conversations, not running separately from them
Important to Know
This isn't a full marketing function to build from scratch, and it isn't a generalist role either — it's a focused, hands-on brief with clear priorities from day one.

We don't need perfect communication — we're more interested in getting a genuine sense of you. Short covering notes are absolutely fine.
We'd prefer responses not to be written by AI. We're not looking for polish, we're looking for honesty and the real person behind the application.
