Marketing Business Assistant
£40,000 per year
London (Hybrid)
12 Month (Maternity Cover)
Join the marketing team of a leading Tier 1 global banking institution, supporting the delivery of high-profile awards programmes and strategic marketing initiatives. Working with stakeholders across multiple regions, you'll coordinate timelines, approvals, communications and marketing activities to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and maintain the annual awards calendar, ensuring key milestones, deadlines and stakeholder actions are tracked and delivered on time.
- Manage the delivery of flagship awards programmes, including stakeholder engagement, submission planning and progress tracking.
- Act as the central point of contact for awards activity, providing guidance on processes, templates and best practice.
- Coordinate award-related marketing materials, ensuring brand, compliance and governance standards are met.
- Monitor awards-related budgets, supplier engagements and commercial commitments, escalating risks where required.
- Support wider marketing operations activities, including leadership team initiatives, internal communications and LinkedIn publishing.

Skills / Experience Required:
- Experience in a relevant marketing, communications, operations or programme coordination role (financial services desirable but not essential).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence working with senior leaders and their offices.
- Demonstrable ability to run timelines, coordinate inputs, and drive delivery through others (strong project/programme management).
- Experience coordinating marketing assets and approvals (Brand/Compliance/Legal) is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and escalate appropriately.
- Comfortable working under time and volume pressures and managing multiple workstreams in parallel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with collaboration and workflow tools is beneficial.
