An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development & Marketing Manager to join a leading international law firm on a fixed-term 12-month maternity cover contract.
Working closely with partners across high-profile disputes and investigations practices, you'll play a key role in driving business growth, strengthening client relationships and delivering strategic marketing initiatives.
The Role
This is a varied and commercially focused position, combining strategic business development with hands-on execution. You'll support partners in identifying opportunities, winning new business and enhancing market profile across key practice areas.

- Lead the development of pitches, proposals, RFPs and client presentations.
- Support partners with business development strategy, client targeting and opportunity identification.
- Conduct market, client and competitor research to inform growth initiatives.
- Drive profile-raising activities, including directory submissions and industry rankings.
- Manage and coordinate client events and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain high-quality marketing collateral, lawyer biographies and practice descriptions.
- Track market trends and provide actionable business intelligence to stakeholders.
About You
- 5+ years' business development or marketing experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong pitch and proposal management experience.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Commercially minded with strong research and analytical capabilities.
- Highly organised, proactive and confident working with senior stakeholders.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
