Marketing & Business Development Manager – Commodities
London / Hybrid | Up to £70,000 pro-rata | Fixed-Term Contract
Our client is a leading international professional services firm seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to join its Commodities team on a maternity cover contract until July 2027.
About the Role
This is a business development-focused role, working closely with senior stakeholders and fee earners to develop client relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver the wider BD strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Proven experience in business development and marketing
- Client development, pitches and RFPs
- Market research, campaigns, and events
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Confidence working with senior fee earners
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Requirements
- Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work independently
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to deadlines
- Previous professional services experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of the Commodities sector being advantageous
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience using a CRM system beneficial

Working Conditions
- This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of three days in the London office
- Fixed-term basis until July 2027
