Marketing & Business Operations Manager London
We're working with a successful, growing specialist recruitment business looking for a Marketing & Business Operations Manager to join its London team.
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys having real ownership. You'll lead the day-to-day marketing activity while also playing an important role in the operations that keep the wider business running smoothly.
Marketing & Content
This isn't a role centred around posting on social media. The focus is on creating high-quality, insight-led B2B content that builds credibility and supports commercial growth.
You'll own:
- Blogs, thought leadership and long-form content
- Downloadable guides, market reports, research and surveys
- Customer success stories and case studies
- Client proposals, presentations and sales collateral
- Website content, SEO and email marketing
- Marketing campaigns, events and brand activity

Business Operations
You'll also take ownership of a range of operational responsibilities across the business, including:
- Internal processes, systems and suppliers
- Office and general business operations
- Employee onboarding and administration
- Identifying opportunities to improve and automate processes
- Client invoicing, timesheets and basic finance administration
- Supporting senior leadership with projects and initiatives
About You
We're looking for someone with 3+ years' relevant experience, ideally within recruitment, professional services, consultancy or another B2B environment.

You'll be a strong writer, highly organised and commercially minded, with experience creating substantial B2B content such as guides, reports, case studies, proposals or thought leadership. You'll also need to enjoy variety. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable creating a polished client proposal, developing a market report and making sure an important internal process gets completed properly.
It's a hands-on management role rather than a people-management position, with plenty of scope to take ownership and shape how things are done.
