Ipswich Borough Council is looking for a Marketing Business Partner
As part of the marketing and communications team this post plays a key role in helping to raise the profile and awareness of the council’s services and brands through the implementation and coordination of a range of web and digital activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and delivering marketing campaigns from planning through to implementation
- Creating and managing marketing content and assets across digital and traditional channels
- Monitoring campaign performance against business targets
- Producing reports using data and market insights to evaluate success
- Identifying opportunities to maximise audience reach
- Supporting business growth through targeted marketing activity
- Maintaining accurate records
- Working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the effective promotion of products, services and brands
Requirements
- A proactive and self-motivated individual who can deliver results both independently and through influencing colleagues and stakeholders
- A strong understanding of traditional, digital and content marketing
- A relevant marketing qualification or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent creative judgement, strong problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail
- The capability to organise and prioritise a varied workload effectively

Hours and Work Pattern
- The role is contracted at 37 hours per week and requires a flexible approach to working hours to support evening and weekend events when necessary
- The post is primarily based at Grafton House, occasional travel is required to attend events and promotional activities across the borough and wider area
