We are looking for a professional marketing candidate to fill an invaluable 6 month contract role, with potential to go permanent, as a Marketing Business Partner, based in Worcester.
The Purpose of This Role
The purpose of this role is to meet the daily operational marketing needs of a group of teams within the firm. It is a proactive, ‘hands on’, multi-channel role. You will use your knowledge of the teams you support to drive marketing outcomes. You’ll be a partner to your teams, working with them to deliver the activity on their plan, and to maximise emerging opportunities by being their first point of contact.

Areas of Responsibility
- Drive and deliver action on the team’s marketing plan (written by the Head of Marketing & BD with the team) – this includes delivering all types of marketing activity such as events, digital content, collateral, campaigns etc.
- Respond to, triage and fully scope marketing need, working with colleagues in the core CMT to establish value and risk level of emerging opportunities and allocate appropriate resource accordingly
- Access shared human and physical resources in the core team members, e.g. website exec/ graphics team, marketing kit, using your project management skills and experience to meet deadlines, co-ordinating with the other MBPs to ensure shared resource is available to all teams
- Work with and delegate to marketing leads as a resource base to help you deliver
- Provide marketing data/reports on outcomes and project costs
- Deliver end-to-end team-led events – all aspects from invite to set up
- Support teams with article editing to ensure quality, and to post on team/own social media profiles
- Support teams with social media scheduling
- Work with the core CMT to deliver team newsletters
- Oversee management of databases
- Draft raw material for website, e.g. new starter profiles
- Support teams with their intranet management
- Produce collateral, e.g. team service sheet/leaflets/videos

Skills and Experience
You will have:
- Worked in a similar size and type of professional services organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an excellent eye for detail and be able to proof read effectively
- Experience of handling complex or technically drafted copy and editing it for multiple audiences
- Used project management software and Microsoft programmes
- Higher level thinking skills – you will be a natural problem solver
- Experience of delivering to KPIs in a fast-paced, highly motivated team and business
- Track record of delivering campaigns and projects across multiple marketing channels including events, webinars, digital, print, business development materials
- Emotional intelligence and resilience
- Driven to perform at high levels, consistently
- A passion for marketing – learnt through the theory. You will have a marketing focused degree and/or a CIM level qualification
- A project management qualification would be advantageous
