Chief Strategy Office (CSO) - Field Marketing Expert

Function: Chief Strategy Office (CSO)

Working pattern: Hybrid setup

Job Location: Milan, Italy

Duration: 1 year maternity cover

Why we need this role

Colt is looking for an enthusiastic field marketing expert to join our team. Reporting into the Manager of Business Partner Marketing FRBenelux and South, you will be working in a lively and collaborative global marketing team and supporting our Italy Enterprise and Strategic Alliance sales team.

Your primary purpose is to promote and develop marketing activities that help sales create pipeline and close bookings, including account-based marketing and event execution. The ideal candidate will love variety and will be a confident communicator and collaborator with experience of working in field sales.

What you will do

  • Planning: Develop annual marketing plan for Italy Enterprise and Strategic Alliance sales team ensuring alignment to corporate strategy, central marketing and product activity, and regional sales objectives.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to manage communications and expectations across functions, territories, and management levels including (but not exclusive to): Enterprise and Strategic Alliance sales, Central marketing functions, regional marketing leads, & Product marketing.
  • Account Based Marketing: Working with Sales to identify key accounts to acquire, grow, and retain using a mix of marketing tactics across the customer journey.
  • Events: Identify and arrange sponsorship and execute key industry events and host Colt events in the region.
  • Campaign development and implementation: Integrated approach, leveraging central content and resources, working with Product Marketing, Data Analytics, Brand and Digital, and Content teams to generate regional campaigns.
  • Sales support: Ensure they have necessary information to effectively follow up leads and opportunities, including social selling and individual sales campaigns.
  • Budget management: Track and monitor against Italy marketing budget allocation. Raise necessary PRF/PO and reconcile actual spend vs budget.
  • Reporting: Provide channel reporting (extract from central reports) and results from activities and adjust activities accordingly.

What we're looking for

  • Driving a partnership culture with regions and countries.
  • Planning and developing annual marketing plan, translating global Marketing and Sales initiatives into regional and local meaningful plans/execution.
  • Working with Sales to identify key accounts to acquire, grow, and retain using a mix of marketing tactics across the customer journey.
  • Executing an integrated approach, leveraging central content and resources, working with Product Marketing, Data Analytics, Brand and Digital, and Content teams to generate regional campaigns.
  • Providing channel reporting and results from activities and adjust activities accordingly.
  • Identifying and arranging sponsorship and executing industry events and hosting Colt events in the region.
