Role Overview
As the Global Marketing Business Partner for Sustainability, you act as the strategic marketing partner to the global Sustainability business, translating business priorities and market opportunities into a clear and impactful marketing strategy. You develop and orchestrate integrated marketing plans that strengthen TÜV SÜD’s positioning as a leading partner for sustainable transformation and generate measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing Partnership: Translate Sustainability business priorities into a focused global marketing strategy and roadmap.
- Market & Customer Insights: Identify market trends, customer needs and growth opportunities to inform marketing priorities.
- Positioning & Value Proposition: Develop compelling positioning, messaging and value propositions for the Sustainability portfolio.
- Global Go-to-Market: Develop and orchestrate global campaigns and go-to-market initiatives for priority Sustainability topics.
- Regional Activation: Enable Regional Marketing Business Partners to adapt and activate global strategies in local markets.
- Performance & Optimisation: Define KPIs, track marketing impact and optimise activities and resource allocation.
- Thought Leadership: Drive TÜV SÜD’s positioning and visibility on priority sustainability topics in collaboration with brand and communications experts.
- Cross-functional Orchestration: Align Sustainability, Sales, Regions and Marketing specialist teams to ensure effective and integrated execution.

Essential Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sustainability, Economics or a related field
- Professional experience in Marketing, Strategy, Business Development, Communications or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally in a complex, international organisation.
- Experience in Sustainability, ESG, Energy, Climate, Technology or related industries is preferred.
- Strong experience developing and executing B2B marketing strategies linked to business growth and customer needs.
- Ability to translate business priorities and customer insights into compelling propositions and measurable marketing outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across a complex, global matrix organisation.
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to use market, customer and performance data to prioritise activities and demonstrate impact.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and compelling messages.
