Marketing Campaign and Event Manager
As the Marketing Campaign and Event Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing all marketing activities associated with lead generation client facing events, including all the event logistics. You will support LHH's key lines of services: Career transition, career development and mobility, and ICEO. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including the sales and solutions teams, and external vendors to generate delegate registrations, conversion to on the day delegate and deliver high-impact events that drives lead generation, brand awareness and client engagement.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing of UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding event experience from awareness, registration, attendance and post event engagement for LHH clients and prospects. Events at LHH are a critical part of deepening client relationships, fostering new sales opportunities enhancing brand awareness.
This is a marketing first role where the person will be responsible for creating marketing campaigns and lead generation associated with an event, as well as working with internal teams to create the content, copy and sourcing the venues and associated logistics.

In this role you can expect to
Key Accountabilities
Event Planning:
- Implement a comprehensive event marketing calendar for Career Transition & Mobility and ICEO across owned events and 3rd party.
- Manage the annual event calendar, ensuring a mix of physical, virtual, and hybrid events tailored to various client and prospect segments.
- Manage execution of all in-person and webinar events.
- Determine appropriate tradeshow and conference attendance and representation to support the growth objectives of the business; facilitate speaker/presentation preparation as necessary to align with event format, topic, and audience.
- Develop measurement framework, setting key performance indicators (KPIs) per event and partnering with marketing analytics colleagues as needed to ensure effective lead gen and revenue opportunities linked to each event.

Event Execution:
- Plan and execute all aspects of events, including but not limited to, conferences, webinars, workshops, client-facing seminars and lunches.
- Coordinate with external vendors, venues, and partners to ensure seamless event logistics and execution.
- Ensure a high-level, high touch experience for event attendees in line with the defined brand experience.
- Manage budgets, timelines, project plans, event vendor invoices, and deliverables to ensure events are executed on time and within budget.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote events, working closely with the digital marketing team to leverage online channels (email, social media, paid advertising, etc.).
- Leverage marketing collateral including event invitations, landing pages, and promotional materials to hit registration targets and then increase conversion from registration to attendance.
- Create new marketing material (video, insight, vox-pops, testimonials) linked to each event for future event promotion.
- Partner with the SDRs and BD sales team to engage with registrations and attendees pre- and post-event.
Post-Event Analysis:
- Measure event success through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as attendance rates, engagement levels, lead generation, and client feedback.
- Provide detailed post-event reporting to stakeholders and suggest data-driven improvements for future events.
Stakeholder management:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders – primarily marketing, sales, sales enablement, and business development to drive local support.
- Partner with the field sales and marketing teams to ensure there is a constant flow of information, market intelligence and joint messaging outreach.
All About You
- Demonstrated experience in delivering outstanding B2B events with 3+ years of experience in managing all aspects of events and associated marketing activities.
- Experience in managing all aspects of event logistics, vendor relationships and budget.
- Creative and customer-centric mindset with an emphasis on high quality delivery.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to engage internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
- Expertise in leveraging digital marketing, including social media, email campaigns to drive event registrations, attendance and post-event conversion.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure, track, and report on event performance.
- Creative thinker with a customer-centric approach.
