Job Overview

About The Role

Ready to take ownership of campaigns seen and heard by millions? If you love seeing a big idea go from a scribble on a page to a campaign that's live across TV, Radio and Out of Home, then you'll fit right in here.

As part of AO's Advertising & Campaigns team, you'll be at the heart of making sure customers know exactly why we're different. Working alongside our Marketing Lead and a brilliant bunch of marketers, you'll help bring exciting campaigns to life that put AO front and centre and keep us top of mind. From shouting about our amazing products and services to creating campaigns that genuinely connect with customers, you'll own the process from brief to launch. You'll work with teams from right across the business to deliver creative, targeted and effective campaigns that make an impact and drive results.

The best bit? No two days are ever the same. One day you could be helping launch a major brand campaign, the next you're brainstorming fresh ideas, analysing results or finding new ways to make our marketing even better. We're a team that loves trying new things, challenging ourselves and having a bit of fun along the way.

So, if you're full of ideas, love getting stuck in, aren't afraid to roll your sleeves up and enjoy working with great people to create brilliant marketing, we'd love to hear from you.

Our people are our superpower, and we’re unstoppable when we’re together! We want your ideas to flow, and what better way to make that happen than being based onsite, 5 days a week, where our culture fuels creativity, collaboration and growth. If a £1 bet in the pub between two friends can become the UK's most trusted electrical retailer, imagine what else can be achieved when we're together!

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

  • Owning marketing campaigns from start to finish, bringing brand and retail activations to life and making sure everything lands on time, within budget and delivers against objectives.
  • Turning ideas into action by writing inspiring creative briefs for both big campaign concepts and channel-specific assets across TV, radio and out-of-home.
  • Working closely with teams across Marketing including Performance, Media, Content, CRM, PR & Comms, Insights, Analytics and Creative to make sure every campaign delivers a seamless customer experience.
  • Partnering with our Trade Marketing teams to maximise commercial opportunities and support manufacturer approval processes.
  • Digging into campaign performance, analysing results and uncovering insights that help us make the next campaign even better.
  • Keeping a finger firmly on the pulse of the marketing world, spotting trends, opportunities and new ways of doing things that keep us ahead of the game.
  • Being the go-to person for marketing activations, helping teams stay informed, aligned and excited about what's coming next.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
